How to fill out PDF application form
Recently, I had to fill out a registration form, which was in PDF format. I dreaded on doing it with my hand, because my handwriting is very bad. So, I tried to find a way to fill it out on my mac.
PDFPen seems to be a good choice if you do this kind of thing often. With this program, you can correct PDF file, and add signature. It can even perform back OCR. But it was too expensive at $49.95, and the demo program leaves “Smiley on my mac” logo on the file. I would definitely consider buying it if I have to correct PDF files.
After some research, I found a perfect solution. PDFescape is a very basic online service where you can upload your PDF file and add texts on it (you can even add “check” sign that looks like v). You can upload files that are less than 2MB or 50 pages. You can use it without registration, but if you register, you can save your file up to 1 month on the server. It seems to be the perfect service if you want to fill out a few PDF format application forms. I tried it on Fireforx, but for some reason, it didn’t work. But I could use it without problem on Safari.
