The Magic Key Combination- Command-Option-Arrow
When you watch a movie or listen to a song, there are moments when you want to go back just a little bit. If you want to do that by clicking on the timeline, it is very difficult to pinpoint the exact spot.
That’s where Command-Option-Arrow (back or forth) key combination becomes handy. In many programs (I tested on iTunes, DVD player, and VLC) if you press this key combination, it will go back or forth for 5 or 10 seconds. Just perfect amount of time shift. Remember to use it when you missed a crucial scene in a movie, and want to go back.
